Mo Liu

Mo is a fourth-year student in the computer science with a specialization in computing and mathematics program at Queen’s university.

With a background in mathematical modelling, statistics and programming, Mo aims to learn and apply novel algorithms and techniques in different field. She worked with PhD student Yang Zhang on the Network Fusion project for two years prior to joining Dr. Duan’s lab.

Her current project involves expanding the environmental risk score (ERS) by consideration of exposure-exposure interactions. By applying modern machine learning methods, Mo train and test her model in the dataset from the Canadian Healthy Infant Longitudinal Development (CHILD) Study.
