Sara Stickley

Sara is a PhD student in the Experimental Medicine program in the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at Queen's University. She completed her Master's in Biomedical Informatics and BScH with a Life Sciences Specialization at Queen's University.

Sara is interested in combining her biomedical background and computing skills to learn more about the role of the microbiota in health and disease.

Sara's PhD thesis project involves investigating the impact of host genetics and environmental exposures on the gut microbiota in childhood asthma.
